The third weekend of the exhibition is well under way. The gallery is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 4pm to 7pm, and by appointment. Simply get in touch and I will come to open up and share a moment in this magical space.
Tonight, I truly feel that the machine has been set in motion. Everything has begun.
Almost everything is ready. My living room is now nothing but a vast storage area of crates, bags, boxes and wrapped bronzes. I hope I have forgotten nothing, so that the evening can be a real celebration and everyone can enjoy stepping into "my world" next Friday.
For those on Facebook, I have created an event for the opening night of the Mase exhibition. The excitement is mounting — it is time to spread the word. The opening will take place on July 15th, 2016, from 6pm, at the Ecurie des Chèvres in Mase (VS). You will find the event here.
In two and a half weeks, the opening of my first solo exhibition will take place. The stress is starting to build. What have I forgotten to plan? What do I still need to do? Every day must be scheduled carefully to make sure everything gets done in time.
While the Vevey exhibition is still running, it is already time to think about the one in Mase coming up in July. Prepare everything, forget nothing, take the time for each detail. The poster and flyers are ready to go to print.
I have somewhat neglected these pages lately, busy preparing the Vevey exhibition. The last pieces were sanded, welded, patinated and waxed at the very last minute — but thanks to Tamara's tireless work, we made it.
Back to the foundry for one pour — no, two pours — on Saturday April 2nd. The intensity of the fire, the apprehension, the camaraderie: everything was there for a magnificent day.
