First casting at a new foundry
The opening took place last night in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Visitors appreciated the exhibition, especially the way the pieces were showcased — both the sculptures and the paintings. Thank you to Jenny-Anne, manager of Galerie Le Bunker, for her work, her availability, her good humour and her encouragement.
I am delighted to announce that I have been invited to exhibit in Sainte-Croix, at the Galerie Le Bunker, from June 10th to July 2nd. Claudie Muller, a painter, will hang her canvases on the gallery walls while my sculptures will be arranged throughout, creating a dialogue between our two forms of expression. For those on Facebook, all the details are here.
After a week rich in encounters and discoveries, it is hard to come back down to earth and return to the rhythms of everyday life. But the studio and the act of modelling allow me to move forward again, to look towards tomorrow through the act of creating. It is with renewed energy that I return to my workbench.
A different event every day: exhibition opening, round table, concerts, tasting evening or artisan market — women are in the spotlight throughout. You can find the full week's programme on the poster attached.
I am delighted to have been invited to take part in the "Semaine de la Femme", at la Vidondée (Riddes).
In preparation for my participation in the "Semaine de la Femme" taking place in early March in Riddes, the plinths lent to me by Tamara and Claude Tièche need a fresh coat of paint.
Ideas jostling in my head, images, shapes, lines and feelings. Hands itching to work.
During August, a walk gave us the chance to visit Gaïa — a fountain-sculpture installed in Sion, in the garden of the Les Glariers care home.
